MaShon Butler - Chief Adminstrative Officer

MaShon Butler is the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for Legacy Two Advisors, LLC., the investment management firm for the MDI Keeper’s Fund (“MKF”). As the CAO, Ms. Butler oversees the firm’s daily administrative operations, leveraging her skills to help the organization achieve its mission.

Before joining Legacy Two Advisors, Ms. Butler began her tenure at Life & Legacy Counselors (The Griffin Firm, PLLC), as the Director of Operations. She oversaw the day-to-day functions of the firm. She managed administrative support including the Office Management and Business Development divisions. She reviewed, analyzed, and evaluated business procedures, implemented policies and procedures that improved day-to-day operations. Lead coordination and integration of efforts among operations and legal mind divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business. Later, business development was added to her role and she oversaw the strategic planning and implementation of new business ventures and growth opportunities for existing relationships.

Ms. Butler has more than 35 years of banking, business development, planning and organizing and community development experience. For twenty of those years, she served as Executive Assistant-Bank Officer to the President and CEO, and the Board of Directors of Industrial Bank, the fourth largest African American-owned MDI in the United States. Ms. Butler supported the bank’s business development efforts by cultivating and initiating current and prospective client relationships. She managed the sporting event suites for the Bank and other business development partners.

Ms. Butler was awarded for revising Industrial Bank’s records retention policy and procedures practices. She lead annual bank-wide meetings on Records Management Compliance.

Ms. Butler began her career in the brokerage services division with Johnston Lemon & Company, an institutional brokerage firm and later with Merrill Lynch and Citibank in Washington, D.C. For over a decade, she served on the Events Committee for the National Bankers Association (NBA), the leading trade association for the nation’s minority banks. She is a former board member of Training Grounds, Inc., a nonprofit organization that assists youth and adults with personal, career and leadership development.
